James Elle is a drummer & vocalist and southern California native. From early childhood, James was an avid musician and songwriter, forming a deep fascination with the rock and metal of the 70’s and 80’s. At age ten, James took up his first pair of drumsticks and never put them back down. As he grew up, James gravitated towards roles of responsibility and education, whether it be mentoring younger scouts in Boy Scouts of America, or younger section members in the Saugus High School marching band. Influenced by his mother, once a practicing therapist, James approaches all of his students through a psychologists’ perspective, making sure each student is motivated and fulfilled in their lessons.
James specializes in teaching drums, vocals, and band classes. He is currently pursuing degrees in musical education, and performs with his two bands and others across the San Fernando Valley. Having been a musician for over half of his life, and now as a professional educator, his mission is to share his experience with any and all so that they can become the musicians they were always meant to be.
