Evan Carrillo is a professional drummer, pianist, and music producer from Orange County, California, and he has performed in various genres including: jazz, punk, alternative, funk, and r&b music. Evan was started learning drums at the age of 10 and furthered his education when he began his jazz studies at Saddleback College where he was mentored by jazz director Joey Sellers from 2017-2020. In the Fall of 2020, Evan transferred to California State University of Northridge where he received his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Studies, in the class of 2023. Evan performed in some of the top jazz combos and big bands while at Saddleback College and CSUN, and was awarded CSUN Jazz “A” Band- Outstanding Student Award in May, 2021. He has performed with his own trio, as well as numerous bands for the past 9 years. Evan has performed in various venues throughout Los Angeles and Orange County including the Whisky A Go-Go, Chain Reaction, The Mint, The Roxy Theatre, and The Soraya.
